Association Of Irish Musical Societies

The Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) provides a voice to musical theatre in Ireland. Over 130 musical societies, throughout the whole of Ireland, are members of AIMS – this relates to around 14,000 people directly involved with musical theatre and an audience base of around 1.2 million.

Cork International Choral Festival

Founded in 1954 to be a dynamic force in developing choral music in Ireland, the Cork International Choral Festival is held annually over the five days preceding the first Monday in May. Cork welcomes choirs from across the world for a programme of gala concerts, schools concerts, national and international competition, and world-class performances as thousands of participants bring the city to life for a celebration of choral music in all its many forms

Feis Maitiu Corcaigh

Feis Maitiú, Corcaigh, a Music and Drama Festival which is held each year at our venue The Father Mathew Hall, in the centre of Cork City.  Our extensive Syllabus has Classes in Singing, Instrumental Music, Speech & Drama, in both English and Irish.  The Festival takes place each year from the end of January to the start of April, and provides a platform for performers of all ages to present their work before experienced professional adjudicators.
